NO CAMERA, BUT TIME!

I am in Morocco in a small fishing village 80 km north of Agadir, working on a campsite for the last six month - reading, surfing and thinking about my future.

After my cameras and my mobile phone got stolen I thought that it might be a good oportunity for having a break and reviewing my journey. Why did I started this? Where am I know? Has anything changed? CARELESS The first thing that has changed is that I dont have a job anymore. I closed my small business netbrands Media and told my partners to look for a new representation company. I am convinced that this is a right and important step for me. I cant break free and look for new things to do if my mind is still circling around how I could get the next media deal and how to prepair the next proposal. So this is the first good thing about the journey. I am free to do what I want and my monthly costs are as low as possible, so I dont have to do anything because of the money, like going back to an office job or do any kind of work if dont want to do. WHERE EVER YOU GO, THERE YOU ARE When I was in the bus, it was the lonliest time in my life. I was heading around, always on the run, not able not stay at one place longer than one or two days. Through the blog idea I had put myself under presure to document how interesting and extraordenary my trip is what a cool person I am, but as you could see in the videos, I failed with that. Where ever I went, I was never satisfied and always looking for a better, more exciting place, wich was impossible. So the trip became more a journey into my own mind, a steady confrontation with myself then a hip road movie of a DJ traveling and partiing trought Europes fanciest hot spots. What I learned about myself is that I loneliness is a part of me. That I will always be bored for my whole life. That I do need people. That I have to to a job where I can express myself. That the only way to arrange with life is to accept this facts. FAMILY And as a ad on I found my father. I dont know if that also had happend when I did not had started this trip, but it is a great thing anyway and maybe it was just the right timing. OPEN QUESTIONS Still, there some open questions. Is happiness the ultimate goal? Or are there better things to follow? Is it better to make a new start somewhere else or to go back and arrange myself with the people I know? And what is the ultimate question to 42?

Robbed ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— my Cameras got stolen ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

In Peniche some very polite thieves have stolen my Video and Photo cameras and 200 EUR from my wallet, but they left my credit cards and only distroyed one door locker. It hurts a little, but something like this must happen if you have all your stuff in a bus. No I have to organize some money to buy new stuff. due to that, next post will may take some time.

Peniche - Back to Lisbon, then gone surfing to Peniche

After 2 weeks with my father and my uncle I drove back to Lisbon and went surfing to a small spot on the Westcoast of Portugal.

Altea, COSTA BLANCA - My parents split up when I was tree month old. My mother married again and when I was 10 the contact between me and my father kind of “faded out”. For some reason we did not speak after that. Now I met my father first time and ask him what he has done the last 25 years.

The next day I jumped on the bus and drove 1200 km from Lisbon to the Costa Blanca. On the way I became a victim of a clever advertising I could not resist.
