My name is Nicolas, I am 34 years old, I live in Berlin and I am running a small Media Company. I have a nice car, I have a nice flat, I have 298 facebook friends and a myspace page and my life sucks. The whole day I am sitting alone in my home office, hanging on faceboook or pressing send and receive on my outlook, always hooping that’s something might happen. In 2009 my business went down to zero due to the world economic crisis. So I had the choice to either wait till the little money I have saved get burned by rent, insurance and latte machiatos or to use the opportunity and to change something in my life.
Why public?
For al long time I wanted to become a Filmmaker and this blog and the short clips are my first small steps on that road. I am using myself as the protagonist and my life as the storyboard. Everything you see has really happend, but life is not a screenplay, so please dont expect plot points, the big adventure story or the ultimate answers.
Press reactions
I am not the super straight young professional you might think I am after reading the article in Spiegel Online and my English is more "soso" than fluent. And I am not the "Klassensprecher" of any kind of generation, I gave some stupid answers to the guys from Jetzt.de, but I got my lesson about press work now.
I am just a normal person who often has taken the "easiest way" decision, now struggeling through life and looking for the simple answers to the big questions.
Some of the clips might be boring, some I made just to improve my technical skills or to test something. But you will see me failing a lot and I am trying to take myself not too serious. So I hope you have some fun watching the clips. And if you find spelling mistakes, please drop me a short mail.
